Chores Are Hot!

What could be sexier than vigorous physical contact with maybe some mechanical devices and some tight rubber gloves?
Men who feel like getting cozy tonight probably need look no further than the dishwasher for getting their partner in the mood. Doing the dishes, washing a few loads of laundry, taking over bathing the children or unloading the groceries—without being asked, of course—are the kind of things that make many women swoon.
In a recent WebMD feature article reviewed by Marina Katz, MD, women divulged that what turns them on the most are consistent gestures of kindness that symbolize appreciation and love. In one story, Robin Siebold, a psychotherapist in Melbourne, FL, says her husband of five years lifts her spirits after a long day of work by showing up at her workplace with his tow truck, loading her car onto his flatbed, and driving her home.
“When a partner can really count on these kinds of little loving gestures on an ongoing basis, it really makes for the kind of connection that’s absolutely necessary to have a relationship hang on through the good and the bad and all the crazy stuff,” says Sharon Gilchrest O’Neill, EdS, LMFT, a couples therapist in Mt. Kisco, NY and author of A Short Guide to a Happy Marriage. “Caring gestures make women feel really good. Guys don’t realize how important they are for women when it comes to getting turned on in the bedroom. To connect physically, they really need that emotional and mental connection.”
So grab that vacuum and roll up your sleeves for the special someone in your life. Not only is it a simple way to show your partner you care, it feels goods now…and later!
